We specialize in homemade ice cream, toppings and candy. We have a full grill menu with great burgers, hot dogs and crab sandwiches!

History

Established in 2004.

In 1968 Dave & Kathy purchased a small Ice Cream Store in San Fransisco. In 1973, they purchased The Candy Factory in Southland Moll and over the next 25 years, this business grew from a small 650 sqft store in the mall to an 18,000 sqft candy factory and a 20,000 sqft distribution center. Our gourmet candies were sold all over the country and even in Guam! Our family worked together until we sold the business in 2001. At the time the Ice Creamery had been sitting empty and vacant for over a year and needed a new caretaker. Dave & Kathy took the lease, did a complete remodel and reopened in the spring of 2004. Now, all of our candies and ice creams are made right here in the store with the best ingredients around. Now, this has become a generational family business as Dave & Kathy's granddaughters, Shay and Taryn lend their hands to help run the business.

I grew up in the candy industry. My grandparents, uncles and both my parents worked together at Knudsen's Candy Factory, where I spent most of my summers learning about chococolate and candy. I thoroughly enjoy making ice cream and the joy that it brings people as the perfect everyday treat.
