About the Business

Specialties

Julia's is the best vegetarian and vegan restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula! We offer a wide variety of scrumptious comfort food that will leave you more than satisfied. We also specialize in delicious exotic and wild mushrooms, from Liliaceps to Lion's Mane. According to Monterey County Weekly: "There is no shortage of variety. There are big breakfasts with the real deal or vegan eggs; bottomless mimosa brunches; salads; pizzas and calzones; a variety of entrees and apps from coconut curry to "faux" orange chicken (cauliflower); good wine, good beer, good home-brewed kombucha and plenty of dessert. It's enough to make a vegetarian giddy, especially in the colorful atmosphere where elegance meets its inner hippie." We make it easy for you to eat your veggies!

History

Established in 2010.

Julia's has been committed to providing the highest-quality vegetarian and vegan fare since 2010. We pride ourselves on our delicious food, friendly service, and unwavering dedication to community and environmental health. We love our customers, and we're very proud to be a valued member of the community!

Cooking here is about health. It's about creating a dish that is both satisfying to the senses and nutritious for the body.  Running Julia's is hard work, yes, but it is rich in its rewards. I am so happy to be a part of such a fantastic restaurant!
