Fun and inventive specialty cocktails, weekly food specials and promotional pricing during Happy Hour, 4pm- 6pm & our late night Happy Hour 11pm-12am, Monday - Saturday.

History

Established in 2003.

Ink opened in May of 2003 with a hip, funky, atmosphere and late night hours -- something very new to Sacramento. We quickly became a hit with Sacramentans and our peers because of our approachable yet inspired menu, great prices and down-to-earth, attentive service. We were the first to bring Sliders to Sac and others have eagerly imitated, endorsing the old saying "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." We recently expanded our patio outside for additional seating in observance of social distancing. Ink Eats & Drinks has been serving locals and out-of-towners for over a decade and we are enjoying every moment of it!

Business Owner

Chris Nestor is the managing owner and chef of Ink Eats & Drinks.  His restaurant experience spans over 30 years, working an array of high volume fast-paced restaurants to small exhibition kitchens focused on curating locally sourced and inventive menus. He got his start in Hyde Park, NY at CIA, the most prestigious culinary school in the country.  Before Ink, Chris managed other local restaurants such as Paragary's Bar and Oven, Rio City Cafe and The Cheesecake Factory in San Francisco.  He stepped back into the kitchen with his ownership at Ink.  Since then, he has won many local competitions while contributing his time and resources to local charities, as well as opening another restaurant. Nestor is known by the staff and guests as being very generous and caring and as he says, "the goal is to keep it simple and make people happy."
