Haytham Hassan, owner of Helmand Palace, has always had a passion for quality food. In fact, Haytham used to work for the brother of the President of Afghanistan and has been a cook for more than 16 years. The desire to share this culture and cuisine with the San Francisco community led Haytham to run this restaurant.
