Family owned, Green Dragon is open for dining inside or outdoors, pickup and delivery from 11:30AM-8:00PM Wednesday through Sunday. Our highly acclaimed menu features a diverse mix of American comfort food and coastal cuisine and we offer the best Happy Hour in North County San Diego from 3PM to 6PM daily with specials such as 50 percent off all bottles of wine on Wednesdays and $5 IPAs on Thursday, focused on local craft breweries. History

Established in 2014.

Family-owned and operated since we opened our doors in 2014, Green Dragon Tavern & Museum is a one of a kind, venue dedicated to providing our guests with a place to come together to dine while also reconnecting with the spirit of New England and American history. Our restaurant is an incredibly popular dining destination on it own, frequented by our amazing local guests. Our 3,400 square foot ballroom is a preferred venue of choice for corporate parties and social private parties. Our architecture is an enhanced replica of the original Boston Green Dragon Tavern landmark, which was demolished in 1854. Our decor features quintessential New England stone fireplaces, custom woodwork and brass fixtures together with portrait art and framed authentic newspapers dating back to the 18th century. Inside you will also find a boutique museum showcasing authentic documents signed by over 15 signers of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution in addition to other antiquities.

"Community has always been at the heart of our mission and our purpose at Green Dragon. Though much has changed in the world over the past two months, that commitment has not," says John Lek, a.k.a. the "Tavern Keeper", who is the co-founder, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Green Dragon Tavern & Museum. He is responsible for all facets of operations and financial management within the popular restaurant, tavern, museum, and event venue. John's strategic vision and implementation have helped earn Green Dragon a reputation as one of San Diego's premier destinations for dining, entertainment, and living history. His favorite part of the day is engaging guests and team members with the spirit of community and hospitality.
