History

Established in 1987.

Great Eastern opened 22 years ago by two of the best Chinese chefs in San Francisco and has been a favorite restaurant by both locals and visitors. Dimsum was introduced in 2002 and has become an instant success among local Chinese and Americans for our freshness(made to order) , consistancy and authenticity. One the original chefs is part owner and head chef and most of the kitchen staff have been with us for at least 15 years.
