Frisco's Carhop and diner was opened in 1990 by Takis and Joanne Frisco Stathoulis. Originally located in City of Industry, Frisco's now operates in Whittier, California as a drive-thru style restaurant with an open dining room attached. We're excited for this new chapter and to be a part of the city of Whittier. We pride ourselves on our Frisco style burgers and delicious sides. It's the same taste you know and love! History

Established in 1981.

Frisco's Carhop and diner was founded in 1981 by Takis Stathoulis, a Greek immigrant and his beloved wife Joanne Frisco Stathoulis. Frisco's was a product of Takis' dream to operate a family style restaurant with the charm and characteristics of the good old days of family dining. Years of hard work and dedication have lead to not only a successful family business, but a reputation and presence in the community of Los Angeles. Famous for the original "Frisco burger", a hamburger served on parmesan sourdough bread, Frisco's continues to serve the Los Angeles area with their new Carhop and drive-thru location on Whittier boulevard in Whittier, California.
