History

Established in 1967.

Fashion Island opened in 1967 with four department stores, 52 specialty shops and two restaurants. Among the original stores were Buffums and Broadway-Hale. Today, Fashion Island is home to world renowned retailers such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's and Orange County's only Neiman Marcus with its collection of designer labels including Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Gucci, Chanel and more. The center also features OC's largest Apple store and is famous for its collection of over 60 unique retailers found nowhere else in Orange County such as Joie. Choose from a delicious menu of fine dining or casual cafes, many of which offer patio seating under sunny California skies.
