Our old fashioned pharmacy has been opened since 1915 and still continues to provide friendly personalized service. Our full service pharmacy offers prescription service, over the counter medications, veterinary, fertility and compound medications and free local delivery! Enjoy lunch at our soda fountain counter. We serve salads, sandwhiches, soups, hamburgers, fries, chili & much more. And of course what what a soda fountain be without Icecream! We are famous for our generous banana splits, floats, malts, sodas, eggcreams and so much more! Our gift shop has lots of vintage memorabilia featuring Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, Superheroes, Star Wars, Audrey Hepburn, Wizard of Oz, and many more! We have a large supply of old fashion toys and games that will bring back everyones childhood memories. Our bath department has a large supply of high end bath products, hand made jewelry, and candles. Last but not least, check out our novelty humor wall, for your all you gag gifting needs

History

Established in 1915.

In the "good, old days," it was convenient for people to meet at the corner drug store to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a hand-dipped milk shake, pick up a prescription, buy some candy for the kids, and find gifts and greeting cards for every occasion. Originally named the South Pasadena Pharmacy when it opened its doors in 1915, this South Pasadena landmark was known as the Raymond Pharmacy throughout the 1920s and '30s and was a popular rest stop on the westernmost end of Route 66. Today's Fair Oaks Pharmacy & Soda Fountain was restored in the early 1990s to its original turn-of-the-century splendor. Authentic tin ceilings and honeycomb tile floors, and a complete set of antique pharmacy fixtures and an original soda fountain all the way from Joplin, Missouri, to round out the store's vintage interior décor. Coincidentally the heirloom fixtures were purchased from the Me Gee pharmacy located in Joplin Missouri on Route 66!

Zahra Shahniani is a dedicated doctor of pharmacy. California and Nevada Board licensed, she has 15 year of experience in pharmacy management, theory and practice in community and clinical settings. Dr. Shahniani earned her graduate degree from University of Southern California (USC School of Pharmacy). She is educated and trained as a specialist in compounding, preparing RX medication, parental nutritions therapy and preparing intravenous (IV) admixture.
