History

Established in 1996.

Coronado Brewing Company began as an idea for brewpub in Coronado, CA. From a humble 10bbl tank, CBC started making high-quality craft beer and serving it in a warm, relaxing brewpub environment. As the business grew, so did the need to produce more beer, so in 2012, the 22,000 sq. ft. brewery production facility opened in the Tecolote Canyon area of San Diego. This facility will be able to produce about 60,000 barrels/yr when fully optimized. In 2014, CBC opened its third location, CBC-Pierside, in Imperial Beach, CA. This new location showcases great craft beer and great food, all in a beach house environment. The future is so bright for Coronado, especially after taking home the honors of Champion Mid-Size Brewery and Brewmaster at the World Beer Cup in April. Look for more locations to join these 3, in the SD area, and beyond!
