At Chili John's, Burbank's oldest continuously operating restaurant, our famous chili's been a crowd-pleaser since 1946 -- and yes, our recipe's been the same since then, too! There are no shortcuts in our kitchen. Each batch of our legendary chili takes ten hours to make and is packed with bold, genuine Southwest flavors. A longtime staple in our community, we're proud to share our from-scratch favorites with locals and tourists alike, so no matter who you are, come on in, have a seat at our iconic U-shaped bar, and get ready to enjoy the best bowl of chili you've ever had.

History

Established in 1946.

Chili John's is Burbank's oldest continuously open restaurant. Workers from Lockheed Martin and early Disney animators regularly ate the same chili we serve today. The beef chili recipe is based on a chili recipe over 100 years old. We can't wait to share it with you!
