History

Established in 1996.

Cha Cha Chicken was originally opened to have a take out version vs. sit down wine and dine restaurants. We love the relaxing environment and the fact that the beach is one block away. Here we bring the Caribbean and Latin flavors to you without you having to fly thousands of miles away. We were originally linked to Cha Cha Cha which was on the corner of Melrose and Virgil along with a chain of others which have been closed since 2002. Elvira (the owner) has taken this place and added her own unique Latin flavors making this a Caribbean restaurant with a Latin Fusion. She runs this restaurant with her children as this is a family establishment so we like to treat our customers as if they are part of our family as well. We appreciate your business and hope that we can serve you for many years to come.

Through the years she has made Cha Cha Chicken  a goldmine by always working hands on with her employees and her children to find new ways of catering to the locals with the fun atmosphere, reggae and Latin music and most important keeping the fresh food unique.  She is the person who made the Caribbean and Latin fusion as popular as it is today.  If you love the Jerk Chicken Enchiladas...then you have to love Elvira, the inventor of one of Americas Best Bites favorites dishes as well.
