Akif A. (Cafe Pro Bono's owner and your host) has worked in the fine dining industry for over 35 years and has held every position you could possibly hold in a restaurant, both in the United States and in Germany. Akif opened his first restaurant in 2001 in San Francisco. In 2003, he opened Cafe Pro Bono in Palo Alto, CA with a goal to provide the most authentic, fresh and affordable Italian cuisine to the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay.Akif's heart and soul is on every plate on every table - and he's trained his staff to feel the same way.At Cafe Pro Bono, you're not just another diner - you instantly become a valued member of the 'CPB Family.'
