The inspiration behind BRERA Ristorante comes from classic recipes of cucina povera,the countryside along the River Po' Valley in Northern Italy where both Chef Angelo Auriana and Matteo Ferdinandi grew up. Enjoy pastas, risottos, steaks and more from the wood-fired oven in an industrial-chic setting. The restaurant has two patios and two private dining rooms with AV equipment for birthdays, parties and meetings.

History

Established in 2016.

Factory Place Hospitality Group was founded by CEO Matteo Ferdinandi in March 2013, with the company's debut of their first restaurant, The Factory Kitchen, in Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District in late October. Executive Chef and Business Partner, Angelo Auriana, joined Ferdinandi and his wife, Francine Diamond-Ferdinandi, in August 2013 shortly before the opening of The Factory Kitchen. The restaurant was an immediate success and continues to serve outstanding, authentic Italian cuisine in downtown Los Angeles. Chef Auriana leads the kitchen by sharing his wealth of knowledge in classic Italian fare; he re-creates classic recipes by using the freshest local seasonal ingredients with his team of dedicated professionals. While the three partners have different tasks within the company, they collectively strive for perfection in all aspects of the business, challenging one another and combining their collective talents into consistent operational excellence.

Restaurateur Matteo Ferdinandi is a seasoned veteran of the food and beverage industry. Italian-born Ferdinandi brings a level of excellence and quality to any project he manages. At Officine Brera and The Factory Kitchen, Ferdinandi and his team create an inviting environment in which to dine, with traditional, authentic Italian cuisine.Ferdinandi's culinary experience has led him to work at notable restaurants including Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group's Spago and CUT.
