History

Established in 2007.

Babycakes was conceptualized in 2007 with the collaboration of Rafael Del Rio a creative Pastry Chef/co-owner of San Diego Desserts and Christopher Stavros an Entrepreneur with extensive operations experience in restaurants, nightclubs and bars. Both with 20 years of experience in the industry, they transformed a run down coffee house into a vibrant bakery operation earning a high reputation in the San Diego cupcake and cake world.
