History

Established in 1981.

Originally established in 1963, the Airport Home Appliance customers know today began in 1981 when the business came under the ownership of Don & Tami Van Eeghen. Their daughters Kate & Kris grew up in the store, doing everything from filing and sweeping after school to managing store operations. The second generation headed by Kate has taken the company from a small local business to a nationally ranked and recognized appliance super store. Though the business has grown, our goal stays the same: Provide customers with the best service possible, staff our stores with knowledgeable experts, and reflect the needs of the local communities we serve.
