We are a family restaurant owned and run by the same family since 1998. In 2011 we expanded to add more tables, a new bar, and most important, a bigger kitchen to serve you better. Customer favorites: *Super Tacos *Burritos & Tortas *Breakfast Burritos & Super Veggies Burritos *Gluten Free Tortillas for Quesadillas or Tacos We put a lots of effort in all our dishes. Our Enchilada Sauces (Green and Red) is made daily with fresh ingredients. We refuse to use can made enchilada sauces. The Chile Verde & Al Pastor meats are great if you like different tastes! Try the Prawn Quesadilla, or Fish Super Tacos. Chile Relleno with Mexican Cheese, so yummy! Cooked daily, Black Beans, Brown Rice or Quinoa, must try! and please let us know how we're doing, so we can get better! At Adelita's we care very much about the quality of the food we serve. We prepare the most deliciously healthy plates for your well-being. We offer Rice Flour Tortillas or Corn Tortillas.

History

Established in 1998.

As a young adult, Felipe came to USA with a dream. He always loved to cook, so he started to work at a small restaurant, in the heart of Mission St. in San Francisco . He worked his way up, from a dishwasher to a chef, learning, and perfecting the recipes. His goal was to one day, open his own taqueria, but it wasn't until he met his future wife, when his dream came true. Working hard together, they put all their heart and savings into "Adelita's Taqueria". They finally opened Adelita's to all of us, on August 29, 1998. Since then, Patricia and Felipe are always on top of all sauces, dishes, and meat quality. They make sure everything is at its best for everyone to enjoy. They have been asked to franchise their business, but their goal is to keep QUALITY before PRODUCTION. And it's been ten years since then! We hope to be around for another ten, to serve all our happy customers.

Felipe and his wife are the proud owners of this little hiding spot in a small strip in Cambrian area. Read our beginnings.In 2010, the neighbor, a very cute paint shop, retired and moved out, so the landlord asked us to expand, we were scare in the beginning, but we're very proud of this big move: now we can offer our customer more space to come in and bring large groups and their families for celebrating birthdays, company events, little leagues and more!  we even created a spot for karaoke!
