Waldo's was established in 1993 by people who are proud of where they work and what they do, as demonstrated through warm, genuine hospitality and famous BBQ! History

Established in 1993.

We were established by Clay Caldwell after years of growing up and working on his family's farm, his love of BBQ became a "bad habit", and he purchased a Texas Smoker in Des Moines, Iowa. Frank Estadt became BBQ CEO in 2005 after challenging Clay to a poker match. The "history" of that match can be found on our website....
