Venezia’s New York Style Pizzeria, where making great pizza is a family tradition! At Venezia’s Pizzeria, we take pride in offering delicious and quality pizza! From our famous 24” party pizza to our family lasagna recipe to our homemade meatballs, our dishes are sure to please! Our extensive menu includes sandwiches, pasta, salads, and other tasty items too! We also offer 5 slice specials that include either a slice, wings, a salad, and a drink all for under $11.25!

History

Established in 1978.

It all started when Frank & Clara moved to New York City from Italy in the late 60's. There they met, fell in love, married & had a son, Domenick (who, little did they know would someday follow in his father's footsteps and grow up to become a Master Pizza Maker). In search of some clean air and a better place to raise a family, they found themselves in Albuquerque, New Mexico...Rio Rancho to be exact. In 1978, they opened Venezia's, a full-service Italian restaurant. Then in 1995, after their son Domenick & their daughter Linda moved to Tempe, Arizona to attend college at Arizona State, Frank & Clara sold the landmark they'd created in New Mexico and moved to Arizona to be closer to their children. In 1998, Domenick graduated from college and married the love of his life, Jaime. Together they are proud to carry on the family tradition of making great pizza, and are excited to share with you the secret family recipes that have been in the family for generations.

Dom is the perfect example of a local businessman starting from the bottom and working his way to the top.  Making his start in a small Tempe store with a seating capacity of 16 people and no more than three employees, he was the driver, cook, and dish washer while his wife handled customers at the counter. Working seven days a week, business was slow and slices were sold for as little as 99 cents to get customers in the door. It was his dedication to the delicious, family-inspired recipes and passion for pizza that would eventually lead Domenick to being the owner of an award-winning, multi-restaurant chain.With family scattered across Italy and New York, Domenick strives to uphold the Montanile family tradition of great pizza-making. He takes frequent trips back to his roots for inspiration on new recipes and ideas and combines them with the latest in modern equipment to make the best pizza possible for his customers.
