We are locally owned - all starting with the vision of making ordinary daily activities...extraordinary.The common question - "Tell me how this all came to be?"It all started with the vision of Kipp - owner of The Thumb.  Every day on his travels, either taking the kids to school or just doing daily tasks, Kipp passed by this vacant gas station here on Bell Road in Scottsdale.The idea - serve World Class BBQ in a gas station, and with a full-service car wash to boot...really?? Everyone thought he was crazy. You'd hear - "It'll never work," or "Great idea, but not here in Scottsdale."After some creative thinking, Kipp was up for the challenge of creating something truly "One-of-a-Kind."Well, he did just that, and the rest is history! Guy Fieri from Diners Drive-Ins and Dives calls us the "Funky Gas Station dishin' out da' bomb brisket!"  Wayde and Brett from Tanked love our Brisket Stack and claim our BBQ is "second to none!"Give us a try - one visit and you'll be hooked!
