Established in 2005.

Established in 2005. After enjoying a 30 year career as a colorist and previous salon owner/manager in the Phoenix area, I decided to re-enter salon ownership. At The Root Salon it is our culture to provide you with the highest in customer service.

Laurén is an expert in her field, a career colorist. Not only has she been educated in the art and chemistry of hair color, but has educated other colorists and salon owners on the use of color to produce extraordinary results. Always a mentor, Laurén has provided an opportunity for young colorists, artists, and designers to showcase their extraordinary talent. It is no surprise The Root has been awarded "Best of Phoenix" by The New Times, called the best salon in the city by AOL's CitysBest, honored by Modern Salon magazine's Salon Today 200 as one of best 200 salons in the US, and named by InStyle Magazine as the top salons in Phoenix, 2011. Laurén's purpose for The Root Salon however, is to always provide the best possible environment, service, products, and of course beautiful, shiny hair for her customers.She feels blessed to have her young, enthusiastic staff of highly talented designers and feels like The Root Salon is a true find in it's Central Phoenix neighborhood.
