Established in 2008.

Old Town Scottsdale's heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Orange, California, Brian Raab relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1994 to attend Arizona State University. A natural hard worker, Raab took a job to help pay for college at the Mesa Country Club and within a year of working there, he was promoted to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. A natural in the hospitality industry, Raab then took a job as bar back at the Merc Bar in Phoenix and quickly moved his way up to bartending. He remained there for nine years doing so well that it not only put him through college and helped him buy a home.  An entrepreneur at heart, Brian Raab is passionate about design, art, food, travel and restaurants.  Raab is a self-professed food lover, hence the connection to the restaurant business. He is a very social guy who loves to entertain and is constantly on the go. You can see Raab in action at The Mission as he casually mingles with regulars and gives energy to the place that only Raab can bring.
