the embodiment of food in the spirit of the nation is an integral part of its identity.Our Dhaba is the embodiment of Punjabi food n Punjab-a state known for its hospitality.Punjab is the envy of the nation(India).Indian highways are dotted with local eateries populasrly known as Dhabas-basically rest stops for the weary n hungry travellers.Dhabas are traditionally characterised by casual seating on hand woven charpais known as cots n food prepard in clay iovens.Over time Dhabas have come to define a culture centered on food.real Punjabi food has been imfluenced by the culinary cultures of Persia,Afghanistan n central Asia.Punjab provided a conduit to caravans from Bukhara,Kabul n Kashmir.The wonderful frontier foods intertwined with the rich stream of Hindu,Sikh,Pathan,Muslim n Kashmiri migrants enriched the Punjabi cuisine. Raised in a family that had been in the food business for 2 generations in India.Professional,accountant and published author.Involved in the specialty food business here for over 2 decades.Started the largest south Asian shopping center in the valley April 2003 . .The pet project The Dhaba restaurant evolved out of a  in store cafe-deli n part of a school project by my son @Thunderbird school of Management.The Dhaba opened its doors june 2008 with emphasis on home style cooking and use of fresh quality ingredients.Shelved the buffet concept.Lunch menu changes daily.Emphasis on service,cleanliness n quality,are making this nicely decorated haven a must for foodies.Blessed with a good team the continued endeavour is customer satisfaction,whatever be the cost.
