History

Established in 1947.

Original Building was gutted by fire in 1953 and re-built in 1954. The 1889 Saloon and Rose Room are original from 1953. The Stockyards was once the largest privately owned cattle feeding pens in the 50's and 60's. The cows are no longer around today, but the inside of the restaurant has not changed much since then, with nothing more than a minor face-lift a few years back. The restaurant has been doing business for 54 years and will continue to do so as long as our great reputation and clientele keep us going. We were also added to the Historical Register recently, so we will be around for many more years!
