History

Established in 2010.

What started as a passion project to create a place where people could put down their phone and connect over a cup of coffee and enjoy a childhood favorite game, has involved into 4 locations with thousands of different board game titles to choose from. One of the biggest evolutional leaps for Snakes & Lattes was adding the "game guru's". These are individuals with extensive board game knowledge and experience who can help guests pick a game that is well suited for their group size and likes and will also teach the rules in a fun, easy to understand fashion. We have great food from burgers to poutine, and beverages, from coffee creations to beer and cider. But, the best part is that you can combine your meal with your pick of hundreds of board games. We have classics like Clue and Mall Madness to the newest in strategy games. And, you can enjoy games with friends on our shady patio.

With a passion for board games and an eye toward hospitality, Susan and the team at Snakes & Lattes, have created an environment like no other. The game library was curated to appeal to all tastes from the classics to the latest party game hits, all the way to heavy strategy games that hobbiests crave. The menu was designed by chef's who have been classically trained overseas and with an international flair. With our Canadian roots, our poutine is already a big hit with locals is one of our top sellers.
