Our evening meals are exemplary among that available in uptown Sedona. The HP Cafe is a food first restaurant. We focus on food and provide a family friendly comfortable fine dining environment. our front patio is street side with a view, Our back patio provides a quite garden environment that includes a water feature. We serve three meals a day to include a 3 pm to 5 pm Happy Hour.

History

Established in 1929.

Our business started as a small coffee shop called the Hitching Post Cafe. In 2012 the restaurant name changed to The HP and started a remodel that is still in progress. Areas of the restaurant are upgraded every year. Portions of the original restaurant are visible in the film The Rounders.

Our owner Judith P worked with her father in this and other restaurants all of her life. She inherited the restaurant in 2012. Her design skills are visible in the restaurant and her ability to hire quality staff is evident in the product and the service.
