History

Established in 1974.

Elmer was born in Sonora, Mexico and came to the United States at age of 11. He grew up in Los Angeles area and started his work career very young. In 1973 he decided to take his love of food a bit further, so with his mother’s recipes, a bit of LA flavor and his own unique style of cooking he moved to Arizona to follow his dream and open a restaurant. "Thank you to the three generations of Chandler Wolf Alumni and all our surrounding supporters. Thank you for your patronage, your friendships and for all the love you have shown me and my family for the last four decades. I appreciate you more than you will ever know, and I enjoy watching your families grow and learn the traditions you have made my restaurant a part of.” -Elmer (1945-2015)
