At Cien Agaves, our philosophy is simple: serve the freshest food and drinks, using the highest-quality ingredients made from scratch every day. Because when it comes to creating Old Town Scottsdale's best margaritas and tacos, we don't mess around. While our philosophy is simple, the experience at Cien Agaves is anything but ordinary. Our menu features authentic Mexican favorites, as well as our own specialty creations like the Grilled Ono Taco and Tinga Taco - a crispy corn tortilla stuffed with chipotle-marinated shredded chicken. We have 100 hand-selected premium tequilas and specialty margaritas that are prepared when ordered, never using bottled sweet and sour and always with fresh-squeezed limes. It's all served up in a casual, relaxing environment adorned with colorful Mexican-style artwork, rustic Mexican star lighting, two separate dining rooms, two bars and two patios for outside dining.

Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila opened its doors in October of 2007. With a passion for great Mexican Cuisine the locally owned company is inspired by redesigning tradition. A company that found success by handcrafting each menu item, Cien Agaves has become beloved by Old Town Scottsdale and its community.

Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila is the award-winning concept of Roque Jimenez and Bob Schulken. These Arizona natives came together to parlay their passion for authentic, flavorful Mexican cuisine and fine tequilas creating a unique and energetic restaurant and tequila bar.The many trips to Guadalajara, Mexico expanded the three amigos' affinity for Mexican culture, exquisite tequila, and delicious Mexican cuisine. Each has an extensive background in the hospitality industry.With the 2007 opening of Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila, all three owner were able to exercise their creative muscles in ways unlike ever before. The end result is one of the most applauded, awarded, and authentic locally-owned Mexican restaurants anywhere in the Southwest.
