Baja Cafe specializes in putting a smile on our guests' faces with fresh, delicious American and Southwestern food and superb customer service in an upbeat atmosphere. We currently are open from 6 am - 2 pm daily. Here at our original location you will find a welcoming and friendly staff who are ready to serve up some amazing and unique dishes. We do offer traditional style breakfast/brunch/lunch, but also love to share our twist on some classics and dishes with a flavorful Southwestern flair. Our kitchen is a scratch kitchen. Our sauces are all made in house, some with fresh chiles we get when we drive to a local farmer in Hatch, NM. We process our meats in house, bake fresh cinnamon rolls for our french toast daily and whip up some fun and fluffy homemade pancakes as well! These yummy food choices pair nicely w/ a hot cup of coffee or our iced coffee; variety of mimosas; Bloody Mary's; and margaritas! We do our best to make sure everyone feels welcome including your pups for our pet friendly patio!! For those of us who live in Tucson, as well as those who visit, we are lucky to have so many amazing and talented chefs running their local businesses. History

Established in 2014.

When we decided to take the plunge and open Baja Cafe in March 2014 we did not have much in terms of money, but we believed in our dream, had our original staff members who stuck by us when no one was coming in because they believed in the food, and we are okay with hard work. As time went on we were blessed to have an amazing man frequent our restaurant, Don. He just loved it and us and started getting our name out. The AZ Daily Star, Tucson Foodie, Tucson Weekly, and our guests spread the word to give us a try. That is how we survived those first couple years and led to us opening our store on Campbell. We are very, very grateful for all of those who gave us a chance and continue to do so. The biggest compliment we can get is when one of our guest's brings in a family member or friend to give us a try for their first time!

Manager

Our General Manager (who also is our head Chef) has been cooking since he was a little guy. He has always wanted to be in the restaurant business and began right after high school and has not stopped.  He has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and train with amazing chefs and restaurant managers and has developed a style all his own.He truly enjoys more than anything to make people smile and have their day be a bit brighter. He pays attention to every detail involved with his recipes and the preparation of the meals offered to our customers. He is just as attentive to making sure anyone who walks through our doors feels welcome and at home. He is open to any feedback and suggestions.He also very much wants families to feel welcome and loves having children laughing and having fun...so much so he has toys and activities ready!He is committed to giving back and supporting our community and team.
