Established in 1988.

AZ88 opened its doors March, 1988. Inspired by the good food, drink, conversation & warmth of family gatherings at the home of his mother, Karl Kopp determine to create a bar and restaurant that would be so distinctive in its quality and style as to become a Scottsdale landmark. In a good measure, he has already succeeded. After only a relatively few years, the reputation of AZ88 is a standard for competitors to chase.
