Tat’s Deli strives to be an authentic reproduction of the East Coast Deli Experience in both product and atmosphere. We are dedicated to providing a diverse menu of high quality eat-in, take-out and delivery meals using only the freshest ingredients, always served in a friendly, efficient manner! Tat’s is famous for our cheesesteaks, hot subs and hoagies that include many in-house brined and smoked meats. All of our soups, sides & salads are also prepared fresh in house!

History

Established in 2004.

Tats East Coast Delicatessen was started by Brian Tatman (Tat) and Jason Simodejka in the spring of 2004. Both Brian and Jason grew up on the East Coast in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas and move to Seattle circa 1996. It didn’t take long to realize that Seattle wasn’t taking full advantage of the tasty culinary treats that their home towns had to offer. After years of searching for the perfect location, testing recipes and coordinating vendors to supply us with truly authentic product lines, we finally began to realize our dream. We found a classic spot in Pioneer Square where we saw an opportunity to bring the tastes of home to Seattle. Through hard work, determination and support of both family and friends we began to serve Seattle a little taste of what the East Coast has to offer. We hope you’re ready!
