Authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria featuring a Valoriani wood fire oven from Italy. The oven design allows the pizzas to be baked in about 90 seconds which is a key element of true Pizza Napoletana. Other offerings are Lasagna, Cannelloni, Salads, Antipastos, Homemade Desserts, Fine Italian Wine and Peroni Beer on tap.

History

The new "bambina" in the Vince's Italian Restaurants family, Pulcinella is a step back to their roots. Vince's was founded by Vince & Ada Mottola in 1957 after immigrating from Naples, Italy. Vince Jr, along with partners Fred Martichuski and David Dorough in Pizzeria Pulcinella have proudly operated Vince's for over 25 years. With over nearly a 100 years of combined pizza making experience and first hand knowledge of pizza served in Naples, Pulcinella was born. Every effort has been made to duplicate the Neapolitan pizza making process. Flour and tomatoes are from Naples and the wood fire oven is a favorite of Pizzaioli (Pizza Chefs) throughout Italy. Vince Jr is in Naples annually visiting family and gettting pointers from his friends in many of the local favorite restaurants and pizzerias. The name, Pulcinella (pool chee nel la), is a beloved character from the Italian Commedia dell'Arte that has become the symbol of Naples, also a great name of a Neapolitan Pizzeria
