Established in 1955.
In 1955 Dan Murray and John Dallas founded Double DD Meats. Lester Palaniuk, 17, who worked here as a clean up kid had purchased the store many years later and started a family business. After 52 years he decided to retire and now the business is run by his daughter, Kim Nygard, and other family members.

Kim Nygard (Owner):My biggest goal of the day is to have people leave happy. We shop around with several different meat distributors that we've been buying from for years and we try to get the best quality at the lowest price. One of my favorite things to do is go to specialty food shows and stock the store with lots of gourmet products you can't find anywhere else.Cindy Mageroy (Manager):Otherwise known as the chicken queen , I pride myself as not meeting my match when it comes to hot sauce.I love trying new sauces to share with all our customers.The Ghost pepper is no problem since I grew up near the Mexican border. Kim grew up by the Canadian border so she can't even handle Tabasco sauce. I also enjoy helping Kim order in quality deli meats and cheeses for the store. Customer service is #1 to us here.
