Berliner Pub is a German style gastropub in downtown Renton WA. We feature a great selection of German beers on tap, a full bar and wine. We have a delicious menu including pretzels, house made bratwurst and other German sausages, schnitzel, spaetzle, schweinshaxe, hamburgers, salads and more. Enjoy warm summer days in the 'biergarten' (outdoor patio), spend the rainy days inside around the fire pit, or enjoy the 'bierhalle' with long, shared tables inspired by German beer halls.

History

Established in 2011.

Berliner Pub opened it's doors in Renton in 2011 and was an instant hit. People enjoyed the family-friendly European Pub feel. Over the years we have added more German tap beer, increased the menu to include more German and American favorites and have established ourselves as a soccer fans go-to bar.

Lydia and Dennis M.

Business Owner

Lydia was born in Australia to German / Austrian parents.  She grew up speaking German with her Oma and spent a year in southern Germany (Schwartzwald area). Her mother's recipes are used in the restaurant.  Dennis was born in the Philippines but grew up in Seattle.  He also spent a year in Kassel, Germany.  He is still in contact with his host brother Henning, who visits every year and also shares with us his family recipes.
