Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi opened in June 2018 to offer an unparalleled and elevated dining experience to the greater Seattle area. It is the namesake and flagship restaurant for Ascend Hospitality Group, headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. AHG is a Black-owned, female-run, independent restaurant group, comprised of world-class concepts ranging from fine-dining to fast-casual, employs more than 700 people in Washington, Oregon and Utah.

Elaina M. Morris is the CEO, president, and co-founder of Ascend Hospitality Group, a premier hospitality company headquartered in the Northwest. As an accomplished CEO, business owner, consultant, innovator, and community leader with over 20 years' experience developing concepts and creating value in various industries, Morris also holds a master's degree in Technology Management. She has launched several local businesses in the hospitality sector, including WiggleWorks Kids and Ascend Hospitality Group (AHG), with flagship restaurant, Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi, named one of Architectural Digest's Most Romantic Restaurants in the World. Morris also serves as trustee for the Washington Hospitality Associations' Education Foundation, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Rainier Athletes, Samena Club, and is a member of YPO Seattle.
