Chef Nathan Lockwood crafts his weekly-changing menu to celebrate the best, hyper-seasonal products available, highlighting Northwest produce, meats, seafood and foraged items, as well as specialty Italian ingredients and traditions.

We are proud to welcome Seattle to celebrate seasonal cuisine, exceptional wine and gracious service with us on the Hill at Altura. Chef Nathan Lockwood is a classically trained culinary professional specializing in locally driven seasonal Italian cuisine. He has accumulated over sixteen years in the hospitality industry as a cook and chef spending considerable time with culinary luminaries such as Hubert Keller and Suzette Gresham. During his tenure as Chef de Cuisine at Acquerello restaurant in San Francisco, he led a kitchen brigade which achieved and maintained a coveted Michelin star. Sommelier Guy Kugel's tenure in Seattle has included ten years at the venerable Flying Fish, managing under James Beard Award-Winning Christine Keff. A graduate of UW Law School, Rebecca Lockwood is the Business Manager of Altura Restaurant and Chef Lockwood's wife. She got her start in restaurants as a hostess at Acquerello Restaurant in San Francisco.
