Specialties
Yatai Ramen Izakaya is a Japanese soul kitchen featuring food and decor true to what you'd find in Japan. You'll feel like you've just walked into Tokyo as you take in traditional decor, our sleek urban vibe, and a full sake bar featuring over 10 varieties of sake. As you explore our menu, you'll find hearty, authentic dishes that can only be described as Japanese soul food. With 14 varieties of ramen, rice bowls, and plenty of other specialties to experience, you've just found your gateway to Japan right in the heart of Plano. We have vegan and vegetarian options for most of our menu items and a selection of wines and local and Japanese beers to complement any meal.
History
Established in 2016.
Our family has been running restaurants for a very long time, and when we wanted to bring Japanese food and culture to a new community in Texas, we came to Plano. "Yatai" roughly translates to "food cart," in Japanese, and they're really popular in Japan. We want to bring that authentic culture and experience to our restaurant, in addition to serving exceptional food.
