History
Established in 2010.
The First 360 days at Tyler's Barbeque We officially opened May 25th 2010 and it has been a lot of work. We cooked over 40,000 lbs of meat in the first year. We were voted Best of Amarillo 2010 in two categories "Ribs" and "Barbeque" and had a regional magazine do an article on us and reviewed by "Texas Monthly" magazine. Amarillo Small business development center chose us a business of the month for March 2011. We have had visitors from all over the world. I believe that we should give every one the best experience when traveling through or living here. In the second year we kept up the momentum and quickly be came the talk about any thing BBQ in Amarillo. The buzz has created others to notice us and I have had several food bogglers review us the biggest it the "BBQ Snob" customers compare us to the Hill country BBQ style. Thank you for your Supporting Texas Barbeque! I Love My Job Tyler Frazer

I am originally form Amarillo Texas. I worked for The Ultimate Smoker and grill an "18wheeler BBQ grill" doing large events. When I took the job I had set goals to open a barbeque restaurant. We did about 400 events West of the Mississippi. I cooked about 60K pieces of chicken, 7.5K buffalo burgers, regular burgers thousands of pounds of brisket sausage and ribs. I stopped counting hotdogs at 450K. We did lot of barbeque cook offs. We were successful at all of them wining trophies for many categories such as brisket, ribs, wild game, sausage, beans and best BBQ Pit. In 2005 I took advantage of having the world's larges smoker and grill to learn as much as I could about cooking for large groups and honing my skills on producing tasty food. I took advantage of my travels to sample all the local barbeque places along the way. Currently there are about 30 barbeques in Amarillo and you may ask your self why do I think I can put in BBQ that will work? The answer is: My name is on the door.
