We specialize in highlighting many different regional cuisines, especially seafood. Another specialty is our fantastic charbroiled steaks. We have a relaxing coastal ambiance-- classy digs while keeping it family-friendly. Our full bar also features a fantastic wine selection, craft draft beers and specialty cocktails.

Established in 2019.
We opened our doors in early 2019 after previously being a local micro-brewery for 13-14 years. Deciding to go in a different direction, we made the moves to focus more on our passion for creative regional seafood and steaks.

Business Owner
Our owners are a local couple who have resided in Port Aransas for over three decades. They love the community and have started multiple businesses on the island, including an offshore charter company, two other restaurants and a dolphin watch and pirate ship tour. They have a love for their employees and like to highlight their passions--which is one reason Tortuga's came to be. Formerly "The Brewery," we came to realize our passion lie in the food we were making, and not so much the beer (though we did love it!). In late 2018, we decided as a team to re-concept and really highlight our culinary passions! And Tortuga's Saltwater grill was formed!
