History

Established in 2011.

Tejas Chocolate is the first "bean to bar" craft chocolate maker in Texas. In October 2015 Tejas Chocolate opened The Craftory & Cafe location in Old Town Tomball so people could see how chocolate is made and enjoy authentic Texas craft barbecue for lunch. In late 2010 Scott figured out he could roast cocoa beans on his barbecue pit at home so he began making chocolate for family, friends, and business associates. In 2011 he founded Tejas Chocolate to begin promoting American Hand Crafted Chocolate.
