When I started laying the foundation for what would eventually become Shu Shu's, many people asked me, "Why Shu Shu's? What are you bringing to the table that's new?" My answer was always, "Nothing. Everything." For years I've watched the neighbordhood mall or chain drive-through serve over-starched gristle blobs and chewy mystery meat alongside dry rice or noodles. When you think of Chinese cuisine, we want you to think of food that pleases the soul - a cuisine that uses the right amount of spice to pep up your day, a cuisine that finds that perfect balance between savory and sweet, a cuisine that hits every single part of your taste buds.

For years I've watched the neighborhood mall or chain drive-through serve over-starched gristle blobs and chewy mystery meat alongside dry rice or noodles.
