At Quack's, there's always something new and we're always evolving. We initially began as a cookie bakery and evolved into an espresso coffee drink shop. Our current incarnation is that of a full-service coffeehouse (including drip-brewed coffee and French-pressed coffee) with an emphasis on our freshly-made baked goods. Our made from scratch goods include a variety of pies, cakes, macaroons, decorated cookies, croissants, muffins, breads and paninis. With the exception of the bagels we carry, all the baked items sold are made from high-quality, natural ingredients with no trans-fats. We never use frozen dough or mixes, preservatives, additives or emulsifiers. Whether you're looking for your morning coffee before work, an after-school snack for your kids, or a great place to study with free Wi-Fi, Quack's has something for everyone. History

Established in 1983.

Quack's 43rd Street Bakery is the present incarnation of Captain Quackenbush's Intergalactic Espresso Café back in 1983. We moved to our 43rd Street location in 1999. We enjoy being part of the Hyde Park neighborhood and look forward to many more years of service to you.
