History
Established in 2019.
We are a family owned and operate authentic Mexican restaurant. Our goal is to provide customers with a "Little Piece of Mexico" here in Houston, Texas. The cuisine comes from all regions of Mexico. Our menu features some staple Mexican dishes that are rarely seen on Tex Mex menus such as Mole Poblano, Cochinita Pibil, Chilaquiles, and Molletes.

Business Owner
Diego is the head chef at Polanquito. He is from Veracruz, Mexico and has been obsessed with anything related to cooking since he was a little kid. His undergraduate studies in cuisine were in Puebla, Mexico and his masters in cuisine is from the Basque Culinary School in San Sebastián, Spain. He has worked for major hotel chains in Mexico and large restaurants in Houston, and is excited to finally have his own endeavor!
