Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant is a staple in Fort Worth, TX with a rich family history. The mouthwatering, old-school recipes, large dining areas, and garden patio have customers waiting in long lines just to experience Joe T. Garcia's. Our menu is simple, classic and with generous portions, and Mamasuez's famous enchiladas and her handmade tortillas are well worth the wait. Our long line may be off putting but our large space allows guests to be seated quickly. Enjoy a glass (or pitcher) of one of the different flavored Margarita's while you wait. When you are seated you will be nothing short of amazed by the five large patios that features a pool, cabana, and fountain. If you have a special event coming up allow us to cater for you. We are also well known for our catering options so make sure to schedule soon because we book up fast. What began as a small restaurant that could only fit 16 has grown in size to fit well over 1000. Established in 1935.

Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant was established on July 4, 1935 by Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Garcia. The restaurant started with only a seating capacity of 16 and has grown to fit well over 1000 today. Although the restaurant has grown in size and popularity over the years, the same style of cooking and original recipes are still used. The same determination and love for the business that was instilled from the beginning is evident in the younger generation that is currently running the restaurant.

We are the grandchildren of Joe T. and Mamasuez, Lanny, Zurella, Joe, Jesse, Phillip and Elizabeth and this is our home. We grew up in the kitchen. We worked at the tables beside our mother and grandmother, we cooked beans, rolled silverware, and bussed tables.  They instilled in us a love of food and a passion for hard work, and we grew up surrounded by the warmth and laughter of friends and family.  Over the years, we have watched Joe T's evolve and grow. But no matter how it changes, Joe T's will always be a part of our family story. scape, where you know what you can expect every time and understand that you will be cared for like family. With nearly a century of serving authentic Mexican dishes, we welcome you to our family table.
