Home to the first Hiatus Spa + Retreat, we have a special place in our hearts for "Big D." Nestled in historic Inwood Village, our original destination for relaxation offers seventeen private treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy room, a couple's suite for two, and a nail therapy lounge with four zero-gravity chairs. We've had some good fortune, receiving two Spa Week Luxe Awards and a handful of Best Spa in Dallas accolades, as well as Best Mani-Pedi, Best Massage, Best Waxing and Best Facial in Dallas. All Hiatus experiences are personalized from start to finish, including a purifying foot soak ritual and our signature hand and foot massage, along with customized aromatherapy. Need more? Live the spa life when you subscribe to the award-winning H-Circle membership, the first spa membership of its kind. For only $89 a month, peace out with your choice of The Signature Massage, Tailor-Made Facial, One & Only Mani-Pedi, Body Glow or Body Wrap.
History
Established in 2007.
Sheila and I spent a good year building this concept. We felt there was a hole in the spa market. It's easy to find high-end spas with high-end price tags, and on the flip-side, there are also plenty of massage clubs out there that have a great price but no frills and little ambiance. With that in mind, we decided to create Hiatus Spa + Retreat, a place where you can escape for an hour or two, take a break (hence the name, Hiatus) and not pay an arm and a leg for great spa services. Having a massage or facial shouldn't be a special treat or an indulgence, but a prescription for wellness on the inside and out. The H-Circle is your subscription to the spa life. Enjoy significant discounts on all spa services, plus $89 Essential Services, all the time. Visit the website for more information at hiatusspa.com. - Kristin & Sheila

We are self-professed spa junkies. When we opened Hiatus, we wanted to make wellness attainable for everyone. The days of spending $180 for an hour-long massage are over. We wanted to make Hiatus a warm, inviting place where people can escape for an hour or a day- and take care of themselves! Say hi next time you are in the spa- and we always love to hear your feedback at hiatus @ hiatusspa.com. Thanks for reading.
