As of May of 2018, Dough has three locations: Castle Hills (San Antonio), Downtown San Antonio and Plano, TX!

History

Established in 2007.

After years of working in the hospitality and restaurant industry, Doug & Lori decided to open up an authentic Neapolitan style Pizzeria, which in 2007 and in San Antonio was quite unique. In 2011, we were featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives." Shortly afterwards, we expanded and added more seating and a wine/beer bar. We also licensed another location in Plano, Texas. In May of 2018, we opened up a third location-this time in downtown San Antonio, close to the convention center in Hemisfair Park. All three locations feature both indoor and patio seating (pet friendly patios), an authentic wood-burning oven and house made mozzarella, burratas and desserts.

Business Owner

Doug & Lori are the owners.  As husband and wife, combined they bring many years of both restaurant and hotel experience.  Doug is from California and Lori is from Connecticut.  They met while working in the hotel industry in California.  At different times in their careers, they had both worked in San Antonio and decided, years later, that San Antonio would be the perfect city to open up their own restaurant-specifically, a Pizzeria and more specific-a Neapolitan style pizzeria.  The name "Dough" came from not only pizza dough; but, also a combination of Doug's first name and the first letter of his last name-DougH!
