History

Established in 1992.

Robert Wayne Moore "The Founder" began this business as a country and western apparel store in the early 90s. Having always been involved with honky tonks in some way or another all of his life, Robert eventually turned the Rhinestone Western Wear store in to a honky tonk. He went through a few different names before establishing Robert's Western World. The leader of the house band Brazilbilly, JesseLee Jones, purchased the business from Robert Moore on August 5th, 1999. This building housed the Sho-Bud Pedal Steel Guitar Co. for many years. JesseLee and wife Emily Ann, have remained true to the idea of traditional country, western, and rock-a-billy music and true to Robert Moore's vision of a real hillbilly heaven. Besides traditional music and a great honky tonk grille, Robert's is also an ideal place for a wedding, a reception, or many types of special events. Tradition is our business!

Meet the Business Owner

Business owner information

JesseLee and EmilyAnn J.

Business Owner

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and influenced by an eclectic back ground of music styles and cultures, JesseLee came to America to fulfill a dream in the music industry. The dream gained strength after the move to Nashville, TN in 1994. Being a traditionalist at heart, JesseLee found his passion in a humble honky tonk in the heart of music city. JesseLee found himself being called "Brazilbilly", short for a Brazilian Hillbilly. Hard work, loyal dedication, and much perseverance, landed him an opportunity to purchase Robert's Western World from Robert Wayne Moore in 1999. Later he would meet the love of his life, Miss Emily Ann, a beautiful native Texan, and together, they’re a force to be reckoned with. She’s as dedicated and hard working as he, and they share a dream of preserving “the music that made Music City”, along with the traditional aspects of Nashville! Together, they run a family style business, where they hope everyone feels at home when they walk through the doors!
