With the passion of bringing a casual, chef-inspired, dining experience to Middle Tennessee, Chef's Market Cafe was opened by owners, Jim and Cheryl Hagy twenty years ago. Soon after, our loyal restaurant customers began requesting our food at catered events all over the greater Nashville area. Since then, we are honored to have grown into "Nashville's Best Caterer" as awarded by the readers of the Nashville Scene and by the Wedding Industry Experts year after year. With Chef's Market, you are never confined to a set menu. Our specialty is creating a customized menu which perfectly reflects both your personality and your vision for your special event. Whether at the restaurant or one of our many custom catered events, we pride ourselves in our reputation of delivering quality and creativity in everything we do. From our restaurant operations, we also now offer Hard Day's Night dinner packages as the perfect solution for all of life's hard days - from bereavement meals, sick days, celebration dinners for families welcoming new babies, or just for a busy family on-the-go. Each of the Hard Day's Night meals feed four and include a chef prepared entrée, two made-from-scratch accompaniments, a market salad, house made rolls and choice of dessert, priced at $79. We opened Chef's Market as a café focused on providing chef quality food for both inside and takeaway dining. From the beginning we had our guests ask us cater their special events. Over the years with a focus on amazing food and service, we have grown into the largest off premise caterer in the greater Nashville area.

Jim and Cheryl Hagy started Chef's Market in 1997 with a desire to provide affordable chef prepared healthy options to the good folks in Middle TN. They designed the service to be just as easy to order take-away as inside dining.  Over the years due to the request of many of their regular patrons they have additional grown an off premise catering business which provides the highest quality and consistency of food combined with outstanding customer service to events at any off site location.  Both the café and catering businesses have received much acclaim winning Zagot and several reader choice awards.
