History

Established in 2015.

Built in 1927 and Located in Historic Downtown Gastonia , Webb Custom Kitchen occupies the unique building of the former Webb Movie Theater. Generations saw their first movie, stole their first kiss and created life time memories in the grand space. In honor of this wonderful building we decided to keep the memory alive and Called it "Webb". The "Custom Kitchen" come from partners Chef Jon Spencer and Jim Morasso doing what they do best, creating a memorable dining experience. The rest will be history.

With over 35 years in the hospitality business, Jim is also the owner of another local restaurant. Chillfire Bar & Grill is Located in Denver NC. Just a few miles from Birkdale. This Lake Norman community Restaurant offers contemporary American flair with the support of many local growers.   The goal of my restaurants are quite simple. Community is everything. Our commitment to  quality of our food, service and your dining experience is paramount. We strive to be the meeting point of our community.
