We are a contemporary take on beer gardens from around the world. Featuring Charlotte's largest patio (tented & heated from fall to spring) where you can enjoy cold beer and our full bar. Featuring 30 craft beers and imports on draft (w/ a large focus on local & NC beers). We have a full bar, liquor, wine and draft beer. Don't think of VBGB as just a bar....the food is simply amazing! We are kid friendly and dogs are welcome on the patio. Enjoy good conversation with your friends or meet new ones at our communal picnic tables, inside and out, without battling angry crowds, typical in clubs and sports bars. We are also an EVENT SPACE. We have a Private Room insde and reserve space on our patio for parties of 20 -200. We offer full catering and drink packages. History

Established in 2011.

We recently relocated from NYC where beer gardens are very popular. We googled "beer gardens" and found none in Charlotte. Thus the beginning of a longer story:) We are a contemporary version of a German style biergarten. Communal seating, cool music and all about the people interaction, good beers and good food. Very casual ambiance with an informal, hang-dog kind of appeal. Great for private parties and corporate events as well, with a private room and private patio for 25-550 people.
